Vietnamese visa is a kind of travel documents granted by Vietnamese competent authorities, providing permission to travel to and enter Vietnam.

An electronic visa (E-visa) is one of visa types issued to foreigners by Vietnamese Immigration Department via electronic system. Vietnam E-visa is valid for maximum of 30 days, single entry and costs 25 USD.

A homestay is a house of a local family, there you can see the real daily life of the local people. In the evening we have diner together with the family. The homestay we select for our guests is nice house and we make sure it is very clean for the guest. The homestays we pick have a western toilet and (hot) shower.

You don’t need much to trek with us! We provide all food and bottled water. But please bring waterproof boots and a rain jacket. You might also want to bring a bathing suit (swimming costume) because we often visit villages with waterfalls or hot springs!

You can come to Sapa by train, bus or private car. We can help you to book all transport for you. Just let us know!

Most tourists arrive by train in Lao Cai, a city on Vietnam’s border with China. We are happy to arrange a private car ($30 each way for four people) to take you from the train station to Sapa town or the beginning of your trek. We can also arrange a group bus from Lao Cai to Sapa town for $3 per person each way.

At Real Sapa, we only work with private tour guiding. Lang or one of her cousin are welcoming you in Sapa after you arrive. There will not be more people in your group, so you will have a very personal experience and the tour is more flexible to change to your needs. During the tour, you can always stop for taking photos at any time!

You can pay us in US dollars and in Vietnam Dong. Whatever is easiest for you 🙂
